So you're interested in Undergraduate studies at the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology?
Here are some interesting facts about us:
- the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology is one of the largest department’s of its kind in North America, with internationally renowned and award-winning faculty
- we offer over 55 undergraduate courses, covering such areas as molecular evolution, population and quantitative genetics, genomics, animal behaviour, population, community, and landscape ecology, evolutionary and ecological theory, biodiversity, conservation biology, and systematics
- students can participate in field courses in the arctic, New World tropics, southeast Asia, Maritimes, or at U of T’s scientific reserve and field station in the Greater Toronto area
- research opportunities are available to students in their second, third and fourth years, as well as the summer months, including conducting a research project of your own design
Undergraduate studies at the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology include programs such as a Specialist in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and a Major in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology.
