My research bridges the ecology and evolution of birds and mammals with the neuroendocrinology of the stress axis. Questions involve the role of the stress axis in aging, neurogenesis, predation risk and demographic impacts, and maternal effects. Research takes place throughout Canada, including the Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and the Yukon. It is often is collaborative with colleagues at universities and institutions throughout Canada, Austria, Australia, etc.
